The conference will be held April 6-9, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Columbus, Ohio. The deadline for competitive paper submissions is October 1, 2004. The deadline for panel, roundtable and poster proposals is November 1, 2004.

  Please forward this message to colleagues who might not have attended ACCI

  before, including those in marketing, economics, finance, agricultural

  economics, sociology, law, and political science. We would like to

  encourage the widest possible participation in ACCI.

  Previous conferences have included speeches by consumer leaders such as

  Ralph Nader, and research presentations on many different topics related to

  the welfare of consumers and families, including health, safety, personal

  finance, family economic policies, and many marketing issues such as

  internet shopping.
